Counselling/psychotherapy; CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), REBT (Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy) for children and adults, as well as couple/marital/relationship therapy, are her areas of expertise.

She has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and the geriatric population for psychotherapy and psychometric evaluation. Anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, childhood disorders, and marital/sexual therapy are some of her specific interests.

 

She was involved in the establishment of in-patient units, rehabilitation initiatives and the out-patient unit. Also EAP services for  corporate sectors.

She has led a number of awareness and training programmes on a variety of psychological concerns for schools, colleges, the community, and the corporate sector.

Her articles have been featured in a number of major newspapers, and she has delivered presentations on television and on Facebook.

She has volunteered as a senior psychologist in the IACP's National Covid Helpline and has worked with Pune Nagarpalika to develop a counselling team for covid patients. As part of the organizing committee, she even held an online international conference of clinical psychology - the 47th NACIACP.

​

She is also an expert on the Bone Marrow Transplant Support Foundation's Advisory Panel, the BJS Advisory Panel for the project of adaptation of children of farmer suicide cases, and the Family Court of Pune's Expert Panel.
